“All things flow, nothing abides”. Change is the only constant and is evident everywhere. My sculptural paintings celebrate these movements using colors, volume, and texture.

My inspiration comes simultaneously from the beauty of my present surroundings and introspection of my personal journey. The latter comprises growing up in the then developing metropolis of Seoul, immigrating to Chicago, and returning to Asia as an adult, blended with my imagination and dreams. To create my art, I draw on these layered visions, emphasizing my deep interaction with these ever changing internal and external worlds.
